Brad Hall, President

Brad Hall teaches at Michigan State University College of Law and serves as Interim Director of its new Public Defender Clinic, a project he helped design. From 2015-2024, Brad was Administrator of the Michigan Appellate Assigned Counsel System. Prior to that, he spent eight years as a federal public defender in Detroit. Brad also serves as Co-Chair of the Latino Leaders for the Enhancement of Advocacy and Development (LLEAD) Metro Detroit Chapter.
Diana Marin, Vice President

Diana Marin is Senior Counsel at Blachard & Walker PLLC, where she focuses on impact and complex litigation on behalf of vulnerable workers in Michigan. Diana’s public interest legal career has been dedicated to vindicating the rights of vulnerable workers at the intersection of employment and immigration law. Diana's legal career began in New York City representing members of low-wage worker centers. Prior to joining Blanchard & Walker, she was a trial attorney at the EEOC, supervising attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, and staff attorney at Farmworker Legal Services.
Veronica Beltran, Secretary

Veronica Beltran is Assistant Director of Student Engagement and Culture at Wayne State University Law School. Previously, she worked in the clinical programs at both Wayne State University Law School and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She also has experience in immigration and business law within a public interest scope, working for non-profits to serve those in need of immigration assistance and help entrepreneurs set up their businesses.
Maria Daniel, Treasurer

Maria Daniel is the Owner and Attorney at Carrera Law Offices PLLC, where she focuses her practice on immigration and family law. Drawing on her international background and entrepreneurial experience, she provides strategic and compassionate representation to individuals and families navigating complex legal challenges. Fluent in English and Spanish, Maria is committed to building trust and ensuring accessibility for clients from diverse backgrounds.
